Of course, any good high-vacuum valve would be suitable for this purpose. However, this valve must remain on the evacuated or gas-filled container after disconnection from the pump or filling gas line and must also be secured against unintentional opening. The sealing valve is similar to a small flange with a pipe attachment, in which the sealing piece (the actual sealing valve) hermetically seals the container or line as a vacuum valve and overpressure protection.
