Elastomer couplings – claw couplings
Elastomer couplings are pluggable, backlash-free and flexible shaft couplings for small to medium torques.
A plastic star with involute-shaped teeth and high Shore hardness serves as a connecting and compensating element. This is inserted in a form-fitting manner with slight pretension into two high-precision manufactured hubs with claw-shaped cams. The elastic coupling star can compensate for minor shaft misalignments, is electrically insulating and has good vibration-damping behavior
There are several standard versions to choose from with a backlash-free, friction-locking shaft-hub connection, which ensure secure torque transmission even without an additional feather key.
